Mirror Lake Pottery by Carol Swenson Bradley is located on the beautiful shores of Mirror Lake in Wrentham, Massachusetts, where I live and draw so much inspiration. I studied art at Vesper George School of Art in Boston but I didn’t begin making pottery until I first took a class with Henriette Dresens, the founder of Potters Place. Henriette has a very unique vision and an infectious love of pottery that I quickly came to share. I create pottery that is primarily functional but I also experiment with sculptural forms and non-functional pieces. My work is thrown on the wheel as well as hand-built. I love glazing pottery! I am especially fascinated by glaze combinations and love it when a new, unexpected glaze effect comes out of the kiln. Please contact me with any questions or comments.
